The end of our trip in London is getting near. We have had such a great time and I'm so inspired and full of energy for new creations and adventures when we get back home! London has for sure delivered and all the adventures we have been on have been so great!

Ace Hotel & Shoreditch

We stayed att Ace Hotel in Shoreditch during our visit here. First of all, this hotel rocks! It is by far one of the best hotels I've stayed in. It is chic, contemporary, hipster, arty and full of life and interesting people. The interiour here is so funky and cool and the staff is just beoynd great! We will definately be back here next time and recommend to everyone a stay at Ace Hotel in Shoreditch, London if you visit! The entire area Shoreditch is also one of a kind! We love it and it's right up our valley. It is so arty, funky, so full of life and the mix of cultures is just fantastic. Shoreditch is full of life in the day time with all its funky vintage shops and quirky boutiqes, lovely cafés, markets, kick ass cool outdoor cinema, and fantastic street art all over the place. Never a dull moment when you walk along the streets here. In the night time the area changes into an awesome lively area with so many people in the pubs, clubs. Great restaurants and funky outdoor venues or cool roof top bars where you can drop in for a drink or two or dance the night away. Shoreditch in East London has for sure got something for everyone, and we will for sure be back here again.

Alexander McQueen exhibition "Savage Beauty"

About to enter the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty Exhibition at Victoria & Albert museum

On Friday evening we went to Victoria & Albert museum to visit the exhibition featuring work by Alexander McQueen. Now, let me tell you, this was the best exhibition we have ever been to and seen. It was overwhelming, so strong and beautiful. The works by Alexander is out of this world phenomenal, and this exhibition was like a journey through his head and inner soul. It really moved me and left so many impressions on me, we were so full of energy, creativity and thoughts when we had visit the show. There are many different rooms that all have their story to tell with his designs and creations. Every room of the exhibition is so carefully and into detail planned and every exhibition room has got the right mood and music in it to bring his creations to life. I totally loved it and I wish I could have met Alexander, what a great designer, artist and person. This experience will forever be in my heart and he will keep on inspiring me in my works. Thank you Alexander McQueen for all the creativy and art you have given me and the world. It was fantastic to be able to be part of your world for a while, now I will treasure it in my heart. ( You were not allowed to take any photos at the exhibition )

IMATS - Makeup artist trade show, London

Wow! This was another highlight from this trip, to finally get to visit IMATS, a big gathering and trade show for makeup artists! There were so many talented makeup artists at the trade show creating awesome living artwork with makeup and masks! I got so inspired and we also visited every stand to look for new makeup brands and products that I can start to work with in the future. I have got so many great plans for the future regarding my makeup artistry, and I will share these plans with you later on! We had a blast at the IMATS and I would most definately want to visit again, and hopefully be able to go to the IMATS held in L.A one day too!
